ATLAS Advisory Councils

ALTAS Learning Resources has two advisory councils, composed of faculty, staff, and students at Gallaudet University.

ATAC was formed in February 2006. It is led by Earl Parks, Director of Academic Technology. It meets once or twice a semester or as needed for input on emerging technologies and decisions to purchase new learning technologies.

ILAC was formed in March 2008. It is led by Sarah Hamrick, Director of Library Information Services, and Earl Parks, Director of Academic Technology. It meets once a month or as needed for moving forward the agenda of improving informaton literacy instruction, assessment, and collaboration.

University WebCom

ATLAS Learning Resources also manages the University WebCom Committee. Responsibility for this committee shifted from Public Relations to Academic Technology in June 2007, when Academic Technology took over responsibility for managing the Ingeniux Web Content Management System (CMS). WebCom is led by Earl Parks, Director of Academic Technology. It meets bi-weekly.
